Description
Last Light was captured right before one of the strongest snow storms to ever hit Zion National Park. The storm clouds were gathering over Observation Point and the rest of Southwest Utah so my friends and I decided to get a backcountry camping permit to sleep near the rim of the canyon which allowed us to photograph this once-in-a-lifetime sunset. The wind was well over 40 miles an hour as it ripped up the canyon making my job photographing this scene that much more difficult. I managed to anchor down my tripod though and started rapid firing my shutter to capture the last light stretch across the canyon wall.
