Lily Lake

Description

Lily Lake is a high alpine lake tucked away amongst the pines of the Colorado Rockies. With a perfect reflective view of Rocky Mountain National Park during sunset, it is a must-visit location for landscape lovers. I ventured here deep into the summer when the days were long and warm on the skin. The hike up from Grand Lake is a beautiful jaunt up the wooded hills and over babbling brooks which eventually take you to a perfect meadow. I sat and waited for the perfect light and cloud cover to mirror in the lake ending up with this amazing scene.
