Description
Road to the Forest is a perfect example of serendipity. Being in the right place at the right time can be more beneficial than months of planning. This was the case as my friend and I headed down the west coast of Oregon after a successful ascent of Mt.Rainier in Washington state. Tired and unwilling to do a major hike, we settled for cruising down the coast to the Redwoods National Park in northern California. Right before the border of California and Oregon lies the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor, an 11-mile stretch of coastline noted for its beauty. My friend and I were in search of a particular view and found ourselves on this mist-laden road headed to the coast. The view was just too good to pass up on so we pulled to the side of the road and I was able to capture a few images of the perfect light softly streaming through the coastal trees.
