Freedom of the Hills

Description

Freedom of the Hills captures the mood of the Quiraing Circuit on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It can often be dark, moody, and overcast on the Inner Hebrides island with wind and rain tearing at the greenery of the hillsides. The twin lakes in this image (Loch Cleat) feed the river Brogaig which runs to the sea some miles away. The Trotternish Ridge can also be seen in Freedom of the Hills as it dances out of view and into the horizon.
